Teaching and tutoring at School of Coding is a rewarding career with excellent growth prospects. When you become a tutor, you will be employed by a forward-thinking, award-winning and nurturing educational company. This is no ordinary teaching role, you will become part of a team of tutors that are passionate about education at our teaching centre in the West Midlands. You will teach groups and individual students and will travel to schools in the local area to help with workshops and after school clubs, with fully paid travel costs. You will be actively involved in creating new material and become involved in developing the new phase of education at School of Coding. Our exceptional growth has been achieved by like-minded tutors who value honesty, integrity and above all, a yearning to improve children’s understanding of Mathematics and English and Computing. The successful candidates will enjoy a contract-based position with a competitive industry wage and full training at our Head Office in Wolverhampton. Our expansion means that we now require further part-time Mathematics and English teachers/tutors for ages 6-10, with a large focus on 11+ exams (entrance exams for year 7 Grammar Schools) with opportunities for teaching GCSE subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The applicant must have a minimum Grade B or above in Mathematics and English at GCSE and studying towards/finished the PGCE, part or newly qualified teacher or have a Bachelors degree in one of the relevant subjects with experience in teaching 11+ topics, such as Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. You must be able to teach one or more of the following; Scratch, Python, Pygame, Java, Java Script, C++, Web development (WordPress, HTML 5, CSS, PHP), GCSE/ Alevel computer science forward-thinking and a team player with an ambition to teach young children. Employment Advisor (Kickstart Scheme) - Job Specification
We are looking for a candidate who has the passion to make a difference and wants to join a fast-growing company to help students graduating from our courses to find work. Through our funded programs we teach and train our adult learners in Digital, Coding, and other employability skills, so that they can transition back into employment. As an employment advisor, you will work intensively with a caseload of learners who have barriers that impact their ability to gain work. Assisting participants to obtain & sustain training & employment that is consistent with their vocational goals. Meet & exceed performance targets for referrals, employer engagement, & job starts in adherence with compliance with contractual guidelines, quality procedures & paperwork requirements. Person Specification We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven member of our team looking to start on a new project within our business encouraging 15-24 unemployed candidates into training and employment.
