About the Role

As an Academic Counsellor, you will help students and parents navigate the educational system. You will be in charge of helping students through their career choices, discussing program advantages, and aiding with enrolling. Your ability to communicate effectively and establish trust with prospective students will directly benefit the success of our foreign education programs in India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer career guidance to students and parents for Pearson Education-accredited courses.
  • Increase enrolment by explaining program advantages and career objectives.
  • Respond to enquiries by phone, email, and in-person meetings in our Jalandhar office.
  • Keep a current student database and follow up on leads periodically.
  • Work with marketing and admissions departments to increase student recruitment.
  • Stay current with UK education system developments and entrance processes.
  • Promote School of Coding and AI programs through events, school visits, and career fairs.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Qualification: Graduate (any field)
  • Preferred Experience: Experience in student counselling, education consulting, or admissions is a plus. Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply!

Overview

School of Coding & AI is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at SoC College located in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT support across our Birmingham site, with occasional travel to other locations as required. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology and education, who thrives in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line and second-line technical support to staff and students, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Maintain and manage the college’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and devices.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications, operating systems, and hardware devices.
  • Monitor and maintain network security, ensuring compliance with IT policies and best practices.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of classroom IT resources, including projectors, interactive whiteboards, and student workstations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printers, audio-visual equipment, and other peripherals.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors for specialised technical support when required.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions in line with the college’s policies.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff and students on the use of IT resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
  • Occasionally travel to additional sites to provide IT support as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+Level 3 IT Support Technician or Level 4 Network Engineer qualification.
  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, Google workspace, CRM systems, Microsoft programmes and network troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with virtual learning environments (VLEs), cloud services, and other educational technologies.
  • Experience with network administration, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when necessary.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with Cyber Essentials, ISO27001 and Cyber Security best practices.

As a Learner Engagement Officer / Sales Member, you will play a crucial role in enrolling eligible learners onto our courses. You will provide Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to help learners make informed decisions about their education and career paths. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage the enrollment process, ensure all participant paperwork is completed accurately, and meet monthly enrollment targets. You will also be responsible for generating new leads and developing innovative strategies to engage potential learners.

Key Responsibilities:
