What Will Your Day Look Like?

  • Operational Mastery: Oversee the smooth running of administrative processes, ensuring all educational activities are efficiently supported.
  • Course and Programme Support: Collaborate with educators and management to review and enhance course materials, ensuring all educational programs meet the needs of students and align with AEP and Higher Education objectives.
  • Administrative Excellence: Maintain organised and up-to-date records for student data, course schedules and performance reports.
  • Professional Development Support: Stay informed about industry trends, educational practices, and new technologies to help shape administrative strategies that support staff and students effectively.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with academic staff, management and external stakeholders to ensure administrative systems align with curriculum needs and evolving educational standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow senior administrators and leadership to ensure departmental success and student outcomes, contributing to a cohesive and supportive team culture.
  • Adaptability & Innovation: Be flexible in supporting changing student needs and curriculum demands, bringing fresh ideas to improve administrative efficiency.
  • Additional Duties: Take on any other tasks or responsibilities as needed to ensure the department’s goals are met, contributing to the overall success of AEP and Higher Education Institute.

What Background Do I Need to Have?

  • Educated to A Level standard, or equivalent level 3 qualification such as a Level 3 NVQ, or level 3 national diploma or relevant work experience evidencing the skills and ability to undertake the role.
  • Minimum of grade C/4 in Mathematics and English at GCSE or equivalent.
  • Bachelors degree in School or Business Administration/Management is desirable.
  • Experience working in an educational setting, ideally within alternative provision, SEND, or pastoral-focused environments.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

  • New Business Development: Actively assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the education sector by researching potential school clients, educational institutions and training organisations to generate leads and support the sales team in securing partnerships.
  • Lead Qualification & Nurturing: Support the sales team by qualifying and nurturing incoming leads, ensuring timely follow-ups and fostering long-term relationships with decision-makers to convert them into committed clients.

  • Sales Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and analyse sales reports, providing insights to refine strategies that support the sales team’s efforts in securing more business and closing deals efficiently.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team for supporting them in securing new partnerships and expanding the company’s footprint in the sector.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Take on additional tasks that contribute to the growth of the business, helping identify new opportunities and ensure the success of the sales process in the education sector.

What Background Do I Need to Have?

  • Minimum of 1 years experience in a sales support, preferably within a sales-driven environment.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) – ability to create reports, track sales data, and assist with presentations.
  • Experience with CRM systems or sales tools is a plus.

About the Role

As an Academic Counsellor, you will help students and parents navigate the educational system. You will be in charge of helping students through their career choices, discussing program advantages, and aiding with enrolling. Your ability to communicate effectively and establish trust with prospective students will directly benefit the success of our foreign education programs in India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer career guidance to students and parents for Pearson Education-accredited courses.
  • Increase enrolment by explaining program advantages and career objectives.
  • Respond to enquiries by phone, email, and in-person meetings in our Jalandhar office.
  • Keep a current student database and follow up on leads periodically.
  • Work with marketing and admissions departments to increase student recruitment.
  • Stay current with UK education system developments and entrance processes.
  • Promote School of Coding and AI programs through events, school visits, and career fairs.

About You

  • Strong communication and persuasive skills – Ability to effectively explain program specifics and motivate students to register.

  • Minimum Qualification: Graduate (any field)

Role Overview:

As a Learner Engagement Officer / Sales Member, you will play a crucial role in enrolling eligible learners onto our courses. You will provide Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to help learners make informed decisions about their education and career paths. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage the enrollment process, ensure all participant paperwork is completed accurately, and meet monthly enrollment targets. You will also be responsible for generating new leads and developing innovative strategies to engage potential learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learner Enrollment: Engage with potential learners, assess their eligibility, and enroll them in appropriate courses.
  • Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG): Provide learners with comprehensive information and advice about available courses, ensuring they make informed decisions.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all participant paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner, meeting all regulatory and organisational standards.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly enrollment targets, contributing to the overall success of the team.
