Our governance framework ensures that our strategic objectives, educational programmes, financial management, safeguarding responsibilities and organisational performance are regularly reviewed and challenged to support our mission of preparing learners for the future through technology education.

Governance Structure

Board of Governors

The Board of Governors provides independent strategic oversight of School of Coding & AI, ensuring that the organisation remains true to its mission, values, and responsibilities. The Board oversees key areas including strategy, educational quality, safeguarding, financial sustainability, risk management, regulatory compliance, equality, diversity and inclusion, and organisational performance. Meeting regularly throughout the year, governors review progress, provide constructive challenges, and help guide the long-term success of the organisation.

Executive Leadership Team

The Executive Leadership Team is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of School of Coding & AI. Working within the strategic framework set by the Board of Governors, the team oversees educational delivery, organisational operations, staff and resource management, quality assurance, and performance monitoring. The Executive Leadership Team is accountable for implementing strategic objectives and regularly reports on progress, outcomes, and organisational performance.

Academic Board

The Academic Board provides oversight of the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of educational provision at School of Coding & AI. Acting as an advisory body to the Board of Governors and Executive Leadership Team, it supports the development of high-quality, industry-relevant programmes and promotes excellence in teaching, learning, and learner outcomes. The Academic Board reviews curriculum development, academic standards, quality assurance, assessment practices, learner achievement, educational innovation, and partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, and employers.
